Well, assuming that anyone on this planet has any interest in this...  Here's a little about me.  I really need to redo this page...

John Matthew Titley

Education:

Susquehanna University

First off, some web surfers have inquired whether specialops.com has any connection with the U.S. Special Operations Command: (www.socom.mil)  No.  My company has no connection to any military organization.  Personally, I strongly support the role of Special Operations forces in the nation's defense.  Occasionally people confuse the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (specialops.org) with specialops.com.  I try very hard to make sure that anyone looking for specialops.org gets to where they're trying to go.

Good places to visit for History buffs:

The US Army Center for Military History
This is a terrific site for research!

The History Net
A good shoving off point for historical research. Of course, nothing beats digging through the stacks of a research library!

Land Rover Restoration.  These trucks can reach speeds of nearly 60 miles per hour on pavement!  The vehicle pictured is a Land Rover Series III.  Amazing off-road vehicles.  I've always wanted to undertake this. Of course, my wife hates camping so I'm not sure where the heck I'd go with it.  Some day...  Found this photo on the Internet.  Not mine.

This link is to the Medal of Honor Society.  It maintains records and citations for MOH recipients.  Humbling and inspiring stuff.

Anyway, I rarely have the spare time to update this.  As I recall, back in the 90's this was how people posted personal data.  In the age of Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, et. al. I suppose this is extremely archaic.  Whatever.
